We are looking for a Project Support Officer to promote the work of the Centre.
In this new position, the ideal candidate will work with researchers, community champions, research assistants and other Centre staff to assist in planning and organisation of community based events and research, and then collect and interpret data from these events to inform future work programmes. This individual will also be involved in the creation and implementation of an operational plan and marketing strategy that maximises stakeholder engagement.
The role holder will also support the day to day management of our social media profiles, and will also assist in maintaining the Centre website with up to date information and opportunities for patients.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level (or equivalent experience) with relevant experience of working in a large health, voluntary or education setting. As well as having previously worked with community organisations and have a thorough knowledge and understanding of equality and diversity principles and practice.
This is a full-time fixed term contract until 30 September 2019.
