Since the #PlayDominoTalkProstate campaign kicked off in March 2018, the campaign has gone from strength to strength with specialist nurses reporting an increase in more black men getting checked.
Pamela Campbell-Morris who has been heading the campaign, said ‘We have noted a positive difference in the engagement and willingness of this group to talk more openly about prostate cancer.’
Continuing the campaign, Pamela has been busy working on a comic book ‘The Domino Effect‘ another innovative approach to enhance our message in this area. The comic book funded by U.matter has been created to tell the story of the campaign as well as share the story of real life characters.
In addition to this, work has now started on creating an animation based on the comic with the aim to spread the message to a wider audience through social media.
