The Race Equality Centre (TREC) will be celebrating its 50th anniversary on Wednesday 11th October 2017 as part of its Annual General Meeting (AGM). Celebrations will be held at Attenborough Hall, Leicester City Council, 115 Charles Street, Leicester LE1 1FZ.
The Right Reverend Martyn Snow, Bishop of Leicester will be joining the celebrations as key note speaker to mark the occasion which will be followed by an awards ceremony.
The event will mark the fact that TREC have not only been in existence for half a century, but continue to champion racial justice in the present and in the foreseeable future.
Arrival and registrations for the AGM will be at 5:45pm, with the meeting to start at 6pm. A refreshments break will be from 6:30pm, with the celebratory ceremony to start at 6:40pm.
