Effective Community Engagement

This course focuses on engaging with people from ethnic minority communities and others identified as ‘protected characteristics’ by the Equality Act 2010. 

The learning outcomes are, an understanding and awareness of:

• The need for equality and effective community engagement
• The Equality Act 2010
• How to engage effectively
• Case studies of engagement, common pitfalls and issues of trust

This 2x half day training course is available for £300 per person (50% discount for public sector organisations)

We recommend that attendees have access to either a PC, laptop or tablet with camera and microphone functions. This will allow access to interactive functions during each session, and get the most of out the training.

 New for 2024! – Face to Face Training

We are now offering 2 of our 2024 courses face to face. These will be in April and November will be held at the Leicester Diabetes Centre, Leicester General Hospital LE5 4PW. The course will run over 1 full day and is available for £300 per person (50% discount for public sector organisations). Refreshments and lunch will be provided throughout the day – dietary and access requirements can be provided upon registration.
