Effective Community Engagement

This course focuses on engaging with people from ethnic minority communities and others identified as ‘protected characteristics’ by the Equality Act 2010. 

The learning outcomes are, an understanding and awareness of:

• The need for equality and effective community engagement
• The Equality Act 2010
• How to engage effectively
• Case studies of engagement, common pitfalls and issues of trust

Courses online 

Our virtual course runs over 2 x half days and will cost £500 per person not subject to VAT (50% discount for public sector organisations).

We recommend that attendees have access to either a PC, laptop or tablet with camera and microphone functions. This will allow access to interactive functions during each session, and get the most of out the training.

Face to Face Training

We also offer 3 courses in person, run over 1 full day. Refreshments and lunch will be provided throughout the day – dietary and access requirements can be provided upon registration. This course will cost £500 per person not subject to VAT (50% discount for public sector organisations).
