Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to cancel the Community Engagement Training session arranged for 19 May 2020.
We are reviewing the situation on a regular basis, and will post updates regarding future training sessions.
We as an employer have a responsibility for safeguarding and keeping well our employees as well as protecting the public. Therefore, the Centre for BME Health has scaled back its community engagement work to a minimum and is being continued remotely where possible.
The Centre for BME Health, is still continuing to work, and our functionality has been reduced, however, our team can still offer support and guidance remotely. Please contact us at bmehealth-em@leicester.ac.uk with details of support you may require.
Please also follow us on @BMEhealthEM for latest news about the Centre, we will also be sharing hints and tips from others to help deal with this difficult time.
Current advice is to stay at home
- Only go outside for food, health reasons, or work (only if you cannot work from home)
- If you go out, stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people at all times
- Wash your hands as soon as you get home
Do not meet others, even friends or family. You can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms.
Keep well and stay safe.
