57An exciting opportunity has arisen to promote the work of the Centre for Black and Minority Ethnic Health East Midlands (CBME).
We are looking for a Project Support Officer to work with researchers, community champions, research assistants, and other Centre for BME staff to assist with planning and organising community based events and research, to then collect and interpret data from these events to inform future work programmes. The role will also be concerned with creating and implementing an operational plan and marketing strategy to maximise stakeholder engagement.
The role will require travelling to meetings and events within the East Midlands as required, and the ideal candidate will need to possess a current UK driving licence and own vehicle.
The role holder will be educated to degree level (or equivalent experience) along with relevant experience of working within an educational, healthcare or voluntary setting, as well as working with community organisations and have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of equality and diversity principles and practice.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop new skills and gain experience of working within the CBME.
The post is offered on a full time fixed term basis until 31 March 2018.
