The Centre for BME Health East Midlands welcomes Barbara Czyznikowska into a Project Support Officer post.
Barbara will play a key role in supporting the work of the Centre for BME Health to reduce ethnic health inequalities in the East Midlands by working with the public, community groups as well as voluntary and faith centre organisations.
Barbara joins the Centre for BME Health from Healthwatch Leicester in which she led on community campaigns and ‘bus for life’ tours. She has an extensive background in public involvement, community engagement and health equality, with a particular interest on interventions relating to wellbeing and community cohesiveness.
In her new role, Barbara will be working on a variety of projects for the Centre for BME Health East Midlands.
